I used to dislike TCL/Tk because of the ugly toolkit and also language. Now I wish it had won instead of the unholy abomination we have with Electron apps.

I've been looking for this. Tcl apps are hard to run today when you're not a dev. Like the wonderful Grimm dictionary compiled into a TCL app ages ago by a German Uni.

I don't know what you need, but have you looked at freewrap? It turns a tcl/tk script into a .exe.

Way back in the days, I always thought that Tcl/Tk had a pretty good packaging story compared to the P-languages, given the presence of Starkits-/packs[1], and (somewhat sadly) the absence of dependencies.

I think they still exist in theory. The last time I tried one it crashed. The original TCLKit developer has not maintained it for years, but it is still around.

Cool. Now create a Usenet client for it and it will be the only sane way to post/read Usenet news under Android, because Emacs+Gnus it's powerful if you have a keyboard, but with a touchscreen it's an exercise of patience.

No, I don't care about binaries, NZB or piracy, just geeky talks. The only series I watch are from the 90's and there is no legal way to watch these anywhere because of the soundtrack, such as Northern Exposure. So, give me comp.arch comp.os* and comp.misc, please.
